The Winner Wins Once More (February 2011)
Lilian Mains is on a winning streak. She was Art Evolution’s lucky Sign Up to Win 2010 competition winner. The competition which ran throughout October 2010, was open to all new subscribers in that month, to our e-newsletter. Picked at random, Lilian is now the proud owner of a stunning abstract painter by the artist Dennis Wood.
Lilian is the Chair of Zodiac Training Limited; a North-East based training company, providing funded and commercial training packages for both companies and individuals. In fact Zodiac Training was founded by Lilian Mains in the late 90’s and has grown into one of the biggest training organisations in the north-east, employing over 150 staff and gaining a range of awards along the way. Lilian recently won the Susan Dobson Award, for North East Business Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, of which she is of course very proud.
On being an Art Evolution winner Lilian had this to say “It was a wonderful and welcome surprise that I was the Art Evolution’s competition winner. It seems I am on a winning streak!
The painting is vibrant with rich, warm colours and I love it. I enjoy paintings and photographs, but have to admit, all of the pieces I have on display, at present, are fairly traditional. The painting by Dennis Woods is a complete contrast and I like it very much. My husband and I have hung the painting above our bed and it most definitely enhances the room with its vibrancy. We have some other paintings in the room which are very simple seaside scenes and somehow the artworks all complement each other, which is great.
I would like to thank Art Evolution for this wonderful prize and look forward to recommending their online gallery to friends, family and colleagues alike.”
