Tim Wallace scoops Prestigious Landscape Photography Award (March 2009)

Award winning image, Northern Tide, by Tim Wallace.

Photography Monthly magazine crowns Art Evolution photographer Tim Wallace an award winner, as part of the Professional Photographer of the Year (2008) competition.

Almost 5000 photographers took the time to enter the competition, and in total over 12,000 images were entered into nine categories. Tim secured the title of Professional Photographer of the Year (2008) having entered ‘Northern Tide’ , which is part of his 'Chair' series. This stunning photograph was taken at dawn at Saltburn Pier, North Yorkshire. The 'Chair' series centres on images caputring chairs in locations you would not expect to find them. Since taking this picture he’s had great success, selling the image as stock, and more recently to a psychiatrist in the US for the walls of his practice. Tim was said to be “utterly gobsmacked” when told he’d won the landscape category.

Based in the North East, with over 20 years experience, Tim Wallace provides top specification stylish imagery which captures the essence of a client’s project or product. Tim is passionate about his work and delivers a unique style that is both creative and contemporary; working in high quality digital formats so that work can be delivered quickly and efficiently. Recently invited to work with Jaguar to conduct 'industry first' seminars in car photography at their UK headquarters Tim inspires his clients. Impressively, Aston launched ‘Aston Art’, a client website offering Tim's car photography of Aston Martin as artwork.

Art Evolution would like to offer our heart felt congratulations to Tim on his well deserved accolade.
