London Gallery Honour for Mike (February 2008)
The Hexham Courant reports on Art Evolution artist Mike Bell invited to show several of his mixed media paintings of Northumberland in the Spring Show at the renowned Sheridan Russell Gallery in London.
The gallery has a fine reputation especially showing 3D sculpture work and Mike’s heavy impasto/textured styled work was therefore chosen to fit in to this popular area, The galley is showing Mike’s work on it’s stand at the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea, London, March 2008.
Mike said he was really excited by this opportunity that follows his successful showings in the past two months across the USA, including New York, Washington, Pittsburg and Florida. The venues are a far cry from his home studio in the wilds of Redesdale.
