The Journal, reports that online art gallery, Art Evolution, has teamed up with a Tynemouth restaurant to ensure diners' minds are as titillated as much as their palates.
Sidney's Restaurant has served up an exhibition of photographs by regional artist Garrod Kirkwood. The artwork from gallery Art Evolution features coastal images from around the North-East and proved a real hit with customers.
Art Evolution managing director Victoria Anderson said: "We have a fantastic response to Garrod's artwork and on visiting Sidney's it is easy to see why. His photographs are stunning and showcase the coastline wonderfully. Garrod has a great talent for capturing a moment, a landscape, with stunning simplicity."
The pair plan to bring artwork of a number of talented North-East artists to cultured diners over the next 12 months.
Their next mini-exhibition is due early April and will showcase the talents of Gateshead-based photographer Steve Mayes and abstract painter Dennis Wood.
