Artwork is a hit with visitors (November 2006)
Art Evolution artists Sally Thompson and Emma Picton were featured in the November issue of Property Today, the property supplement of the Northumberland Gazette and Morpeth Herald.
Northumberland-based artist Sally Thompson has an unusual outlet to showcase her work.
Ten of her paintings are on the walls of a show home in County Durham after she was commissioned by North East housebuilders Yuill Homes, through online art gallery Art Evolution.
Sally’s work joins that of three other regional artists, all adding the finishing touches to the home at Whitworth Park, Spennymoor.
Art Evolution artist Emma Picton was commissioned be the developers to create a number of bespoke pieces of glass artwork combining the greens, browns and golds of the then proposed show home, with striking results.
Gallery Managing Director Victoria Anderson said: ‘Both Art Evolution and the artists we support have the partnership we Yuill homes very rewarding.”
