Pam returned to painting five years ago with a fresh enthusiasm and focussed determination after a long break. She studied at Newcastle College of Art in the late 60's then subsequently turned her back on art. In the year 2000 Pam gained an honours degree in the History of Modern Art, Design and Film and in 2001 gained a postgraduate diploma in Arts and Cultural Management. Her studies in the history of modern art have given her an in depth knowledge of various artists, their styles and methods. Consequently she has returned to her own painting with confidence and a critical eye.
