Steve's photography deals mainly with cityscape images of Newcastle & Gateshead, and coastal images of Northumberland.
It is no coincidence that my interest in monochrome photography developed soon after moving to the North East the mix of classic old and stylish new architecture lends itself beautifully to black and white photography. Night-time is particularly special in Newcastle & Gateshead views of the bridges, Baltic and Sage from the Quayside are stunning at night, and produce great monochrome images.
More recently, Steve has ventured in colour photography, capturing the breathtaking coastline of the region, for all to share.
