Sarah Davies
Sarah's work crosses the boundaries of painting and sculpture, incorporating wood, metal, and fabric. The context in which Sarah works also varies from wall-based work consisting of multiple pieces to larger scale installations. 'One of my main inspirations for my work is light. I have found that light as a subject matter and material incorporated into my work has fascinating and endless possibilities. I have spent time observing, drawing and photographing everyday phenomena such as the shadow patterns light creates by passing through railings or window panes.'
