Ever since his childhood spent in the Derbyshire Dales and the Peak District, photographer James Burns has been fascinated and inspired by dramatic landscapes, sweeping vistas and the interplay of light and texture.
After attending the University of Newcastle, James has happily made his home, and cites the area's outstanding natural beauty as his prime inspiration. Northumberland contains some of the most spectacular scenery in the country and it is James Burns' aim to capture it for the enjoyment of others.
